Lisa shows just how little the process of getting the oil to market means to the average person who has a pipeline of the stuff running through their lives. If getting oil to market meant anything to these people there would be a whole industry built on getting the oil safety to market instead of the unlawful taking of the oil at every opportunity that presents itself. As it is, the opportunities for this unlawful taking of oil will only increase with the violence surrounding the process of the taking.
This is counter to the decreasing of incidents of violence associated with the agreement for the safe passage of oil through the lives of the people, young and old, who have a direct lawful stake in the flow of oil through the pipeline. The amount of resources due these stakeholders must be, in reality, small compared to the fear of empowerment as to what these resources hold.
